I will be traveling on holiday form the States through England in the spring and wanted to catch a game at the Hawthorns. The way my itinerary is shaping up it will be the Liverpool home match in early April. I have already gotten my club membership so I am hopeful of buying tickets online. Any thoughts out there on where we should sit? I will be with my wife and 15 year old daughter, who I already told will have to keep the El Nino comments to a minimum.
Many thanks for your comments.

You've only really got two choices, East Stand or Birmingham Road end. No concessions in the Halfords, and brainless meatheads (and twobags) in the Smethwick.

I'm afraid there's a brainless meathead moved to the East Stand recently too.

How did you come to support the Albion?
Just rolling out of the rack here in west coast. Thanks for all the advice.
Regarding my attachment to Albion. If you thought that all these american keepers floating around the premier league were a mistake..... I grew up playing the game over here in the 70's and 80's to a pretty high level. We worshipped the British keepers as Phil Parkes played out his career for my hometown Chicago Sting of the old NASL (Beckenbauer, Pele, Cruyff, etc). My goalkeeper coach was a guy from Leeds who made us watch film of old FA and UEFA cup games. Used to say I reminded him of the Russian Yashin and Osborne from Albion.

john osbourne was one of the best keepers i've ever seen at the hawthorns, he was famous for his bionic finger. very useful attribute for a keeper

CB - let us know closer to the time if you are definitely up for a game and we'll arrange a get together in the Vine pre-match.
