Anybody else a little concerned about RDM's comments he will have a look at the squad over the next 4-5 weeks before deciding where we need strengthening and who we can move on?
I'm sure it won't take him that long to realise the likes of Beattie and Moore can go, Meite ain't interested and a couple more will be better out the club
I would like to think by the end of July our squad will be settled with 3 or 4 new faces and the same going out. It's going to be a busy July on the transfer front and I don't think for one minute we can spend most of it evaluating our squad

Presumably it is impolitic to say 'well the defence is crap & I'm going to buy a complete new set from non league because they'd be an improvement'
Although I hope that's about what he's thinking.

He's already mentioned he is adding steel to the team, with Mulumbu and Cox coming in this week I would imagine that he would be lining up Robbo's replacement and a new centre back to partner Olsson. He will evaluate who wants to stay and go, once he has seen them in training I am sure he will form his opinion.
Most of the player recruitment will be dealt with by Ashworth, I am sure we have a list of potential players in every position that we've scouted and Di Matteo will be approached for his thoughts etc.

Not really. He's coming into this new and the club will look to build bridges with one or two outcasts.
RDM probably feels he'd be an idiot to let anyone go without running the rule over them first.

Players may have already departed by then anyway giving him the spondoolies |
