A great value summer camp in Connemara - 30 odd kids from around the globe at it. There was cycling around the Aran islands, hiking, swimming (seems to include jumping off piers into the sea a lot), camping and various sports - some fishing too but we will let that pass. It is run by a religious group though, so there is a Mass every day and other religious talks and so on. A small price to pay.
However, my son was telling me about the prizes at the end of the week - Best at Sports, Best Cook and so on (he got the prize for best overall camper I'm happy to say - beat that Camp Freddy). Anyway, the strange thing was the 'Best at Mass' prize, won by one of the Spanish students. It made me think of Father Ted - what do you do to be 'Best at Mass'?
