in case the orange gypsy appears...
The Trabi-Safari was great fun, flying through red lights trying to keep up with the lead car and causing mayhem all over the city. Only problem was we got caught in that thunderstorm in the cabrios and we got completely soaked half-way round. Pulled the wiper switch off so they didn't work and couldn't see causing me to nearly hit a cyclist who'd pulled right in front of me.
Kleine Nachtrevue ended up being a great little venue. Not only good burlesque entertainment but a really good laugh and not full of the usual Ukranian or Russian crack whores in clubs that you end up frequenting on these dos. Went down a treat.

He won't reply, I banned him for disagreeing with me when I said I didn't have a temper whilst discussing my love of Mowbray and U2.

Ach Rich, like you would ever ban me.
Fido - Getting caught in a thunderstorm in a convertible Trabi - that's brilliant. Sounds like good, clean, dangerous fun. I'm amazed nothing short-circuited in there. Glad it worked out. Where did you watch / play rugby or whatever you were planning?

And the two lasses leading it were lovelies as well which kept everyone's interest up. Football didn't happen - i think the night ended about 4 or 5 for most with some on the prowl until 9. Watched the rugby in the Oscar Wilde. I liked the city itself but from the top of the hotel (Park Inn) you could definitely see how much of it had been flattened in the war with all the 50s and new builds.

The East still looks abominable in many places. And now you've been to the Oscar Wilde, you know where I go to watch Wolves lose. Anyway, glad to be of service. Sorry I was too busy to come out for a pint.
