When will this clown get dropped.
Plus Odem is obviously a confidence player, I'm guessing that's the last will see of his good form for some time.
Gutted.

I agree with the last word but the first part is a joke. How the fuck was he at fault for the first? Is he meant to catch everything in the fucking box regardless of delivery? Or should he have been standing on the post?
The second was shit marking, again.
The scapegoating of Carson on this board for every goal we concede is becoming ridiculous.

Are you joking?
Look at the replay - Dorrans is going mad at him for not coming and catching the second five f**king yards out...
First one, a lot of keepers would have been able to dive to get that - he so flat footed.

He went down like a ton of bricks for the first, should've pulled a marker in for the second. Certainly must shoulder some resonsibility for both. Sorry.

Didn't think he got down well for the first and his positioning was questionable. Too far out to go for the ball. Second was well into the 6 yard box - he could at least come off his line and try and get the ball - even if he doesn't get it he would cause some chaos and maybe put the player off and cut down the amount of angle he has to aim at. But he does nothing.

So keepers aren't meant to catch the ball in the six yard box?

He has never recovered from the England gaffe.

I don't give a shit if Dorrans was bollocking him. Yes, he may have been slightly at fault for the second, but surely you have to have a pop at defenders for allowing free headers, Carson isn't there to mark.
No I'm not joking. Reading this board you'd think if we'd had Myhill instead of Carson in goal we'd be ten points clear and not conceded a goal all season.

RDMs worst decision was to make him captain. Makes it harder to drop him. He is utterly shit at the minute. Insists on staying on his line with the reaction speed of a pensioner.

And he's the CAPTAIN thus should be organising the defence in front of him... The weak link in our side without question.

I'm not a hater of Scott, but I do think Myhill deserves an extended run in the team in 2011!

I don't hate him either, it's just obvious when a player is not doing well and should be dropped.

He wasn't dropped after Blackburn hence he will not be dropped. He's awful at the minute.

Carson did not do enough for both there goals.
he is slow to react to rooneys header.
he had hernadez stood right next to him unmarked and not once shouted for someone to pick him up. then he got rooted to line again.
this aint carson bashing for the sake of it.
if man u do not see a long term future for tk we should go in for him.

The first goal was terrible defending but Carson took forever to get down to a header with minimal pace.
The second was poor all round. I'd prefer the keeper to come to claim anything and everything but nobody picking up players in the box either.
Want to score against the Brom? Put a ball in the six yard box. Guaren-fuggin-teed.

Fortune and Miller have had least had some pitch time to try and claim a place and i am not sure they would be better than wingie if wingie played with a broken leg

Perhaps the rumours re Peter carrying an injury are true. He certainly looks like it at the moment. Fact is that if we drop him them we pick from Miller, Fortune or Cox. Non of those will have an impact in my opinion.

I don't think Odemwingie should be dropped - confidence won't come back on the bench.
I am coming round to the argument that Carson is not good enough, and may be part of the problem, and if not part of the problem, then he certainly doesn't give the impression he is ever going to be the solution to our defensive issues.
Agree making him captain was a mistake, it does make dropping him a bigger issue that it needs to be.

The second was Tchoyi's fault. He has a job to do and walked away from it. Not the first time we've seen him do that either. If he's standing where he's supposed to, the cross hits him straight in the face.
I'm struggling to see how the first was his fault too, though I'll wait for a replay on that one.

Who's job is it to scream at Tchoyi to get into position? He fails as a goalkeeper and more so as a captain.

I don't recall the last time Carson came for a cross. It's just too easy to score against us from a cross.

I think the problem with Carson is that there are not enough games where you come away from it thinking that Carson saved us a point(s) in that game.

It's Carson job to catch the ball - he even has a massive pair of padded gloves to help him hang on to it... He's useless at doing that.
As captain it's his job to organise the team - he's useless at doing that.
