news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/west_bromwich_albion/9358201.stmWest Bromwich Albion striker Roman Bednar says he has returned to the club with a better focus and a strong desire to give his all in the Premier League.
After playing only six times in the first half of the season Bednar, 27, joined Leicester on loan in November.
Now back at The Hawthorns, he was a substitute in the Baggies' FA Cup defeat by Reading.
"I'm happy to be back. It feels like a fresh start for me again," Bednar told the club's official website.
"Everyone knows I love this club and I'm going to try and prove I should play."
Bednar made five appearances for Leicester in this short time at the Walkers Stadium and says the break away from The Hawthorns came at the right time.
"Maybe I needed to go to Leicester to realise what I wanted," he said.
"I really wasn't handling well the fact I wasn't playing. I was pretty unhappy - and everyone saw that - before I left for the loan.
"But I just had to put my head straight."
Now back at Albion, the Czech striker is raring to get an opportunity to show the Baggies' fans he means business.
"I'm working hard - that's what I promise. I've got something left to prove and I still want to be here.
"I went to see the gaffer and he said 'if you work hard you will get the chances', that's enough for me."Didn't he say while he was at Leicester he wouldn't play for us again?

Wanker of the highest order.
Not good enough by a long chalk.

Let's all face facts, if this twat ever pulls on an Albion shirt again we're in big (even bigger than we are now) trouble.

Ibanez - it sounds very much like that to me!
If so, it's pathetic and we fully deserve to go down.

Anyone else worried that the club have told him to come out and say somthing positive as we aren't going to sign another striker Club tell him to say fook all. I'd wager the comments were made in response to journalist questions about what he said before he left for Leicester.

Nowhere near good enough at our level and worries me it's more ammunition for Roland not to back a striker deal in the window, we need to get the likes of Moore (gone) Mattock, Bednar, Read, Meathead off the wage bill in January.
RDM should have told him he wasn't wanted and listed him, not tell him to knuckle down FFS, hearing a lot of "chat" from ITK's about RDM's weakness in general as a man manager and it's getting a tad worrying now, clearly has his favourites, Cech & Tamas for example and needs to be harsher with a few of them

He's simply not good enough at this level.
I have no doubt that Di Matteo would rather he wasn't there, and I imagine the club are waiting for a reasonable offer (in comparison to what was paid) before they sell.
I'd imagine something around £1m would see him sold, and a motivated Bednar is effective in the Championship, as we've seen. Its another big(gish) transfer loss for Peace to swallow, but I can't imagine we'll be taking up the extra year option in June, so we might as well take whatever's offered to be honest.

All that interview does is fuel the need for the muppet next to me to carry on with his favourite saying.
"Yam shit, get Rowman on."

Few weeks ago he didnt want to fuggin come back.
Also liked the way it said he had a succesful loan spell, if getting booed by your own fans is successful Lukey must feel like a messiah

Having said all that, one of my fondest memories from two seasons ago was him doing "England's" Michael Dawson up like a kipper to bet the Spuds 2-0 at home.
If he could replicate that sort of performance then I'd quite happily welcome him back.

My fondest memory was his header vs Man Citeh
Closed his eyes, just sort of hit off the back of his head and loops over Hart. Hernandez does it for man utd at stoke and its a fuggin goal of the week contender
