- Goalkeeper (Foster?) - A Right-Back (Not convinced by Jones, and Reid is out of contract in Summer - I'd give him another year, personally) -Replacement for Olsson (I'd look abroad) -Pacy Winger (Someone in the Moses mould) -Replacement for Odemwingie
Players out of contract: Reid, Shorey, Thomas, Fortune, Tchyoi,
Any others?

If Moses was any good he'd have shown it by now. He's 46 years old FFS! A player who only performs every sixth game is really what we don't need. Moses, Moses, Moses. He can't get in a shit Wigan team half the time. I'd rather have Ed fucking Moses. Absolute fucking toss. Waste of space. Fucking useless.

Also he has had more shots than anyone in the prem with a return of 4 goals. We have had enough of non scoring goal scorers.

Good post Ziz. Might add Fortune replacement needed. He played very well today but I don't see him as a long term solution. I think Shorey may stay but agree we need to look at RB position. Reid will be out even more next season I reckon and not sure Jones is good enough to cover for a spell of any great length. The budget will be blown on Foster. Odemwingie will go to raise funds to fill other gaps I reckon.

Replace Olsson from abroad - mmmm....maybe a Tamas or Donk?

I'd ask about Matt Jarvis personally. Not gonna attract any of the big boys in the league and should fit within our wage structure. Pacey and delivers a good cross, easily Wolves' best player.

I'd carry Hoilett on my back all the way down the motorway if we could get him - but I guess he will be off to bigger and better things

To Ziz's list, I'd add that we need a central midfielder who is an improvement on both Andrews and Scharner.

Replace Olsson from abroad - mmmm....maybe a Tamas or Donk? Quite, it would be almost impossible to bring a player like Olsson in from abroad. It's never been done.

If Kightly can stay fit he'd be an asset. Was attracting attention of some big clubs before his horrendous run of injuries. What I've seen of him lately, he appears to be getting it back together, though in a poor side admittedly.

But IMO he is a plaster, who albeit has been performing very well. In his advantage is, he isn't a bad egg, IMO, and is still the 'best' striker we own who can hold the ball. I'd also try and sell Cox. He isn't good enough IMO. If Odem was to leave, I couldn't see the club trying to sign two strikers. One will be difficult enough, with the way Albion operate. If push came to shove, I'd offer him the +1 but no more.

Replace Olsson from abroad - mmmm....maybe a Tamas or Donk? I like Olsson. Just my 'gut' feeling he wants pastures new. He deserves it, IMO. I think he'll want to use the Euros, to further enhance his growing reputation. At 29, he most likely wants a new challenge.

I'm still clinging on to the fact that Dorrans can fulfill a central midfield role at this level... Also I think rather than signing a central midfielder, George Thorne will be ready next season. Do we try and hold him back, or will it be time to blood him in the first XI? Have also heard Scott Allan is doing rather well at Pompey. If Hodgson stays I think he'll be more inclined to go down the signing of an experienced midfielder, however we could well have a new Head Coach, with a diff mindest.

That said, I would like us to bring in a new no1 striker this summer.

Shane Long hasn't looked the same since Hutton injured him. To be fair, he has had a stop-start season with other niggles. He really impressed me at the start of the season, when initially I had reservations

If we can't get a fee this summer, then we won't get one next. Complete waste of wages- as Bednar was.

It's what Hodgson does prefer. He likes 'older' plays. The average age he left at Fulham was considerably high. But he did, to his credit leave a solid foundation. Maybe another two years of Hodgson solidifying the Brom wouldn't be the worst thing?

He's a far better all-round player at this level then Bedknobs.

I agree Shep - i would definitely keep Fortune. I'm not sure we are in a position where we can afford to replace players who are performing.
If Ollsson goes, we will need 2 central defenders, there has to be a question as to whether Dawson will make the grade next season, and i think it would be foolhardy to think that a 34 year old MaCauley can be a mainstay next season.
We could do with a right full back - although i would keep Jara.
Other additions will depend on who leaves.
Most important signing will be Foster.
