We'll finish top-half again, to stick one up all the nay-sayers.
With good football, to boot.

I'm confident we'll do well. To be honest, it may well be that there's very little points-wise to choose between 8th and 15th/16th. Where we finish in that lot, who knows, but I'm sure we'll be in that group and I'm on the glass half-full side of things. Personally, I would take 13th-16th and further consolidation at this level,as long as the football is better to watch than last season. On that score at least, all the signs are promising.

So you was not entertained by being 10th Ohh dear your hard to please Without wishing to reopen the debate again, it was obviously great to finish 10th but was it entertaining? Rarely. As Clarke himself has said, style and success needn't be mutually exclusive.

Notable victories:
Villa away Wolves home and away Liverpool away Chelsea at home Sunderland 4-0 at home Newcastle 3-2 away Stoke away
If you didn't find that entertaining or enjoyable then you're following the wrong fugging game

Does look good but wont be happening QPR bottom is a no/no for a start Every chance, overpaid players who don't care under a manager who thinks he is Brian Clough is no recipe for success.

Just look at how everyone said they'd finish above us aftre their late August and January splurges last season. Who exactly have they signed that is going to make them better than last season? Hoillett looks their best signing but he was relegated last year.

They have brought in
Hoilett Fabio Park Ryan Nelson Rob Green Andy Johnson
All good players with premiership experience
Don't think they will be bottom by the end of it

Young, got relegated last season. Fabio. Man Utd are desperate for a new full back or two and he was let go. Park. Solid player but again dispensed with as a Man Utd squad player despite them being short in midfield Ryan nelsen. Was an excellent defender...two season ago...now? Rob Green. Improvement on Paddy Kenny. Good signing. Andy Johnson. Improved their striking options but still injury prone. Good signing on the whole. They still have propensity to fall apart. Spending lots of money on wages doesn't always equal success. The next Pompey IMO...but not sure they'll see any success before the inevitable happens.

But enjoyment at our success and entertainment are two different things IMO, though not mutually exclusive. To be entertained, I need to enjoy the football we're playing. On this basis, and the fact that I only watched the home games live, I was entertained last season vs Man Utd, Spurs, Bolton, Sunderland and Chelsea (though there was also much to admire about our performance vs Man City on Boxing Day).

Tbh I am more entertained by a 1-0 win in last minute at Sunderland than a 3-1 home loss to spurs
