The Brownlees.
Humble. Great sportsmen at the top of the world. Handled the pressure perfectly to delivery gold and bronze,
The Ferdinands.
Vile. Overrated and talentless. Thick as planks and ego maniacs full of their own self-importance.

Watched the Brownlees' interview on BBC Breakfast this morning, thought they were brilliant and came across as nice guys.

Your hijacking of Olympic success to portray yourself as a paragon of the Corinthian Spirit Nick is amusing but somewhat tiresome. Much more of it and I will have to reach for the sick bag.
Stick to making a fool of yourself. You're really good at that.

Chris the baggie and Baggie Nick.
One a Cosmopolitan boulevardier, the other a local cornet.

The Brownlees: went to private school in Bradford (fees currently at just over ten grand a year), then Leeds University.
The Ferdinand: various state schools in an around Beckham, including the one that Stephen Lawrence attended.
I suspect that these facts might help contextualise

Rio Ferdinand is a lot of things but he isn't talentless. Agreed... A VERY good centre half until the last few years.

I suspect that these facts might help contextualise My Dad ( RIP ) and his brother went to the same school as Rio , only the area was called Peckham way back then . They turned out alright although both average at footie. Decent rugby players mind
