Totally bonkers.
Same as giving too much praise.
Friendlies are and never have been a gauge for a team or an individual.
The only thing they are for are fitness and working on team shape.
Seen some right ole bollocks on here after last night. Although most are Nicks so thats heartening as his record on whether players are going to be a hit or shit is the worst on here by some distance.

The 'criticism' of Wood is probably well aimed. Good player but not good enough.

Wood has had hardly any break at all from football over the summer, he's bound to look a bit tired to those who've been away and recharged the batteries. Unfortunately, there isn't much time to give them a break!

Stewart Evans got a brace against Walsall in a friendly in 1986. The Express and Dingle were adamant that he was the player to fire Albion's promotion push back into the to flight. < waits for Colliers Wood Baggie for precise quote>

We'll see Rich. Football is all about opinions and that's what makes it so addictive and interesting.
I'm not scared to make my opinions known and usually call it right. Cox and Wood are only two examples - never going to be good enough. Ditto Tchoyi and Mattock amongst many others. If you have 'an eye' for these things like I do then it's easy to spot flaws in players. I said I had 'concerns' about Yacob but I'll wait and see and give him the benefit of the doubt.
One thing I will not do is stop giving my opinions no matter whom it may offend. People on here are SO lily-livered one often wonders if they've ever had to deal with criticism or opposition in their own lives - it's sometimes baffling!
Anyway, it's all a load of bullshit at the end of the day so who gives a shit?

Perhaps a handful are negative but then modern football is riddled with negativity. It's run by brainless idiots and played by vile morons.
Check out my posts about the Olympics and then say that every post of mine is negative.

Once you've removed your head from up your own arse, maybe you can take another view on McAuley seeing you see everything so clearly with your trained eye? I'm amazed you can see things so well though from watching a highlights package. You should be a football scout, all I can thing is that their trained eyes didn't spot yours.

Aha, McAuley, the one that I got wrong. It's amazing how that one comes up time and time again. Not much more ammunition I suppose. I admitted I was wrong and, as it benefited our club, I was glad to be wrong.
Anything else? Nope, didn't think so.

I might just post all the things you've been wrong about on here in random posts dotted throughout the board evry now and again when they come to mind... It seemed to work when some tit did something similar previously. #1 We'll get relegated in 2011/2012 season

Roll out the big guns, Shrek.
What's the matter, still embrassed about being proved wrong about my opinion on Peace.
For what it's worth, I think we'll comfortably stay up this season.
