the only consolation is i should be able to get a ticket for Fenway easy enough this year, and the "Bobby Valentine's day massacre" stuff is almost funny in a morbid kind of way.

K-Rod fuggs up the set-up, Brewers lose series
COL 4 v MIL 1 TEX 3 v DET 2 STL 5 v PIT 1 MIN 2 v TB 6 LAD 0 v HOU 12 (Ragmon alert) TOR 5 v KC 3 CIN 4 v CHC 3 BAL 3 v LAA 2 CLE 1 v OAK 5 PHI 1 v SD 6 CWS 7 v SEA 4

The Freak and Bumgarner do for the Mets, but still an 8-8 start. Phillies lose. Dons, Blue Jays, Red Sox and Brewers win. No real trumpetings.

9th inning walk off win for the Mets as they sweep the Fish. No happy returns for Jose. The starting line-up consisted entirely of players signed and developed by the Mets which is quite some achievement.
Giants, Mariners, Red Sox and the Padres win. Blue Jays lose.
Brewers have a night off, start at the Red Birds tonight.
Money can’t buy you everything, at least not straight away. Albert’s Angels are rock bottom with a 6-13 record, 9 games back from the Rangers.

Thought I'd look in to see what's happening. I gave the season up when it got to 2-8. 6-14 is a mild improvement but still knackered.
See you in a month

Mets, isn't it? Jumpers for bases. Little kicks with scuffed up knees. 'I was safe! Mommy!'.
Marvellous.

My Mariners are doing okay - hovering around the .500 mark and showing occasional flashes that some of the young kids may turn out okay. The league that we are in is pretty crap though (with the exception of the Rangers) and in 2 games last week we had more hits (30) than we did in the entire month of September last season!
Sad that Michael Pineda, who we traded to the wankees in the summer, is now going to miss the entire season.
Really shouldn't have stayed up last night watching the NFL draft though, as I am absolutely wasted today, and I'm not 100% convinced by the Giants 1st round pick - but then again, I wasn't convinced by JPP last year and he turned out okay!

Scott Hairston does the cycle in Mets loss to the Rockies. Phillies and Snetters lose. Yankees and Dodgers win and Boston win the battle of the Sox. Blue Jays lose to the Mariners in 10. Padres beat the Giants. Brewers get a deep dicking.
I need an update of poster's teams please.

Think you've covered all the teams Mon, can't remember who is with who.
Surrendering 8 in the third takes some beating, but your 11 in the 5th? Would have been torture to watch.

Mets looks like they're heading in the right direction. That all home grown starters the other was impressive too. We were topping the HR league a couple of days ago which seems ridiculous sans prince.

Mets make bloody hard work of it. 4 runs up till very late. We would've lost that last year. LGM.

Mets make bloody hard work of it. 4 runs up till very late. We would've lost that last year. LGM. Watched the mets game last night as the wife wanted to watch the Rockies so she knew more about their players before we go to watch them in August. The opening pitcher you had was pretty good, but then I lost count of how many relievers that you brought in. Thought the grand slam home run in the bottom of the 8th would see a momntum shift, but fair play to the Mets they battled it out and the better team won. On the Mariner front, our opening hitter put the ball into the crowd for a HR - but then we did absolultey nothing until it was far too late

Watched the phillies beat the cubs on saturday complete with the phillie phanatic milking his pet pantomime cow betsy on the outfield, he pulled out a plastic container of milk to loud cheers before reaching back in and pulling out a container of chocolate milk.
I'm beginning to regret my choice

Makes Bernie's Home Run slide into the barrel of ale seem pretty tame. Imagine having that plonk itself down next to you midway through a game? My kid wouldn't sleep for days!
