A lack of hits failed to backup some excellent pitching from King Felix last night for the Mariners - we seem to be a bit all or nothing at the moment as we had 15 hits in back to back games last week and haven't amassed 15 hits since

Winners: Dons, Blue Jays, Phillies, Fish beat the Giants and former Brewer pinch hitter (Kotsay) wins it with a 2 run HR bottom of the 8th. Padres 2, Brew Crew 0.
Losers: Mariners, Snetters, Red Sox and the Mets.

Weird one last night, the Mariners had 3 times the hits that the rays had (9-3) but they scrored 3 times as many runs as us (3-1).
What probably explains it is that we are 0 for 30 at the plate with runners in scoring position, which is pretty crap

"Series defeat to The Padres" I feel sick, although it doesn't sound as bad as "swept by The Astros"

Nice one boinging, hope it's a good game for you Cheers mon, just got back (12:35am here) decent game, price pitched well for the rays, as for the A's well the best word to sum them up was comedic. Terrible in the field, awful pitching and crap batting. In fact it was just like watching the sox !!! Just got back to watch us blow a 4-3 lead again and end up losing 6-4 to the orioles in the 13th. We really are a shambles. Valentine out. Booh

Brewers bring their road form home with them and lose the series opener against the Reds. Bad luck/Injuries, blah, blah, blah. Need to find a few skanky 2-1 series wins to get back on track. Mets win at the Phillies Dons thump the Giants Wins all round for the Fish, Red Sox, Padres and Mariners. mlb.mlb.com/mlb/standings/index.jsp?tcid=mm_mlb_standings

Mets beat the Phillies (again). Giants beat the Dons.
Snetters, Brewers and Padres win.
Blue Jays, Mariners, Fish and Red Sox lose.
About 30 games gone, Dons and Mets are early bored front runners. Padres bringing up the rear.

Brewers lose a thriller (and their 4th consecutive series) Tied at 0-0 going into the 9th, the Axeman had a ‘mare and was lucky to escape with only 2 runs surrendered. Braun smacked a homer to bring the scores back to 2-1, then with 2 outs it got to bases load, pinch hitters and pinch runners AOTS. No cigar. Cubs up next. “We don’t do percentages,” left fielder Ryan Braun midfielder Carl Henry said. “We’ll be all right”
Elsewhere……….. Mets sweep the Phillies Dons beat the Giants Wins for the Mariners, Blue Jays, Snetters and Fish (in 12) Red Sox and Padres lose

Brewers let it get away from them and end up getting comfortably beat, but a series win is a relief. 2 games at Citi-field start tonight, wish it was last year’s Mets but there’s a chance tonight with Gallardo pitching.
Fish beat the Mets Phillies beat the Padres
Winners…..
Mariners Red Sox hand out a trumpeting Dons Giants Snetters in 12
Losers….. Blue Jays

Bad night in Gotham for the Brewers. Old man Batista rolls back the years for the Mets and improves his stats. Greinke tonight, but it’s away, so fat chance.
Snetters beat the Fish Red Sox beat the Mariners
Wins for…Phillies, Dons and Giants.
Boos for…Padres, Blue Jays.
